The dust contained in boiler flue gas (including fly ash and carbon black), sulfur and nitrogen oxides are the pollutants that pollute the atmosphere, and the emission index can reach several times to tens of times of the environmental protection regulations without purification. The forces used in dust removal include gravity, centrifugal force, inertia force, adhesion force, sound wave and static electricity. Coarse particles are usually separated by gravitational sedimentation and inertial force, and centrifugal force is used to separate dust at higher capacity.
The boiler electrostatic precipitator and bag filter have higher dust removal efficiency. The water dripping film in wet and ven-water film can adhere to fly ash, dust removal efficiency is very high, and can absorb gaseous pollutants.
The smoke desulfurization has absorption and catalytic oxidation. Dry absorption of alkaline alumina, semi coke, activated carbon, etc.; wet absorption of ammonia, sodium carbonate, lime slurry, etc.. Due to the high cost of flue gas desulfurization equipment and operation, most enterprises tend to use low sulfur fuel to reduce emissions of sulfur oxides.
Nitrogen oxides in flue gas are mainly nitric oxide. Flue gas denitration has catalytic decomposition method, selective catalytic reduction method, and high temperature activated carbon absorption denitration.
In the operation of coal-fired boilers, a large amount of slag and fly ash collected by the dust collector are required to be removed and sent to the slag yard by hydraulic or mechanical methods.
